Hartford 2019 Inviational
The second meet of the year proved special for the Cardinal Cross Country teams. Running on a tough course and on tired legs, the varsity boys won the Hartford Invite for the first time. Joe Furlan made it two wins in two races. Not far behind him was the “wolf pack” of Carlos Garcia (5th), David Garcia (9th), Tyler Starbuck (10th), Trace Wixom (14th), and Cody Gallimore (30th), all of whom finished in the top 30 and earned medals. Matt Streeter and Ethan Gumpert got in their first race of the season and were ready to go! Chris Taylor, Tyler Osterman, Joe Stocchiero, Malachi Cassels, and Jacob Kolean all ran their fastest times of the season. Great running Cardinals!
